The year was 1910. As Haley’s Comet streaked over the gantry at Harland and Wolff, twin titans grew ever-greater on the stocks. In 2012 the world will commemorate the loss of the R.M.S. Titanic – the tragedy, the disaster and the end of an era.

In this year of 2010, Titanic International Society will mark the birth of the legend, the triumph that was Belfast’s, White Star’s, and the shipyard workers of Harland and Wolff’s. We celebrate the Ship Majestic and the glory days of her construction and launch and all the pride that was Belfast’s.

Please come to Boston and join us May 21-23, 2010 in the great old port city of Boston, Massachusetts. A wonderful weekend of siteseeing, special guest presenters, learning, feasting and socializing has been planned for you as we all begin the countdown to 2012.
